Am I the only one to like it better than the concept? I'm glad they toned it down. I kinda like it.

I hate to say this, but I expected more. I thought it would be identical to the show car. Still nice, but expected more.

I LIKE it!

I have approval from the CEO to buy a new X5... I may have to go with the X6, though.

So, two (or three) questions, Sunil:

- We know how much HP the bi-turbo I-6 makes. How much does the X6 weigh? They talk about lightweight materials, but don't tell you how porky it may or may not be.

- Do we have any performance (0-60) numbers?

- What is the price point? Please, for the love of GOD, someone tell me how much this thing is gonna cost???

Juan

The V8 is 0-60 in 5.3

There's performance numbers in another thread (km though). I'll see if I can find it.

Here it is

Scott27, the 50i is described in BMW's literature as 'replacing' the 4.8i and there is no mention of the 4.8i in any of the German press material..

So, it's heavier than the e70, only .2 seconds faster than the e70, and it will probably cost more than the e70?

I'm sure it will handle better, especially since the e70 is softer than the e53, but... as much as I'd love to have one, I don't know I can pull the trigger... I'll have to wait to see some pricing, I guess.

Juan
