Thank you for the feedback. I will tell the dealer you said no money down (smile).

Since I hear that there are no big changed for 09, other than GPS etc. which will take few months to arrive, I am going with the 08.

Thanks again,

BMW Canada press release says that it will release Q4 of this year. So I don't think it will take that long for release in US.

My dealer says on the ground in January.

I will take a brief moment to give them props for replacing a $700 alternator at 482 miles and 90 days beyond warranty.

Any news on the oil-burner pricing? It will be interesting trying to predict interest as oil appears to be on a roller coaster and everyone I talk to reminds me that "diesel is soooo much more expensive".

They've never towed a heavy load uphill in a headwind at 4000 ft. elevation...

You are probably right. I think my sales guy has a few too many '08s left over so he is pushing out the expected arrival of the diesels. He has every incentive to sell cars he has now. He is probably thinking he has more than enough interest in the diesels when they show up but has to sell some cars before then. They will probably go out at top dollar so it will be easy money for him.

Pricing for the diesel will be out in the next 10-12 days is what the dealer told me today.
