Only 4.09.9 for premium? Lucky you. Here in the NY City metro area, premium is more like 4.70 (and that's down in the last few weeks)

I might go this weekend and put a deposit on X5 35d if they are willing to be fair in the price. I wanted to get the 2009 X6 two weeks a go, and they (another local dealer) wanted MSRP and gave me $ 3,000 below Edmunds value of my trade in. On top of that they said that value of my trade in will drop between $ 2-3K by the time it is built in October. I felt that I was being man handled and walked away. The Delta out the door was more than 51K.... I thought to myself I can keep my car and get 335i convertible.... Unfortunately I don't fit

I'll see how the other dealer act regarding the X35d, will they be reasonable or will they be stubborn?!

PS. My main attraction to the Diesel is the power combined with drving range. Otherwise I would be driving the 4.8 now.

X6s just came out and they are selling good so negotiation will be tough. As far as your trade, I doubt it's worth that much off the KBB on it---unless you have a huge SUV like a Suburban, etc. No dealer wants one of those.

Exactly how big are you you? I am 6'3" and 250 and have plenty of room in my 335i convertible - and can even fit my 5 year old son in the rear seat behind me.

It's an FX35 with evey option (except DVD) and in excellent condition. Edmunds trade value was 22,000. They gave me 19,000 and said that it would 16,500-17,00 in october. My impression is that it was not fair... If I am off I would appreciate the feed back, this is one the main values and functions of these forums. They give you a neutral and unbiased sounding board.

I am 6'6" 225 lbs. I sat in the 335 coupe (which I think is the best looking BMW) and I could not under any adjustment get my head straight.
