I hate to break it to you (I really do!) but that paint is gonna start chipping REALLY soon... I also had mine "professionally" painted black and it was severely chipping. They said they'd re-do it but the same problem will occur in a couple of months due to all the pebbles on the floors. So I just ordered the pieces in black today to replace them. Hopefully it won't be too hard to replace the bottom part. By the way, it's only about $50 shipped so it might be worth it instead paying for paint, going through the labor only to find yourself replacing the part later. Hopefully you won't have the same problem but I'm afraid you will

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the black mesh upper and lowers? I have a 2007 3.0si and was wondering...

No offense but if you can afford 50k+ for a truck, why settle for spraypaint when you can pay 50$ for the sport mesh?

I don't notice a difference. either way, I hope you bought a paint for plastics and cleaned it with alcohol or something first, if not, I think you'll be spraying it again sometime soon

Many people don't know you can order these parts seperately... or how inexpensive they are. I personally just found out after contacting Morristown. I don't think it's about saving a buck after spending 50k on a truck like you said.

$50 for parts and shipping??? I really want to order the titanium sport mesh. Is it easy to install it on your own? If so, how? I know the dealer will probably charge around $99 for labor.

Thanks

The upper mesh is realllly easy to install... just pops on and off. The lower one seems to be attached to the bumper and installation is more involved. I'm still waiting for the part, then I'm gonna take it to the place that painted them in the first place to install. Even if it's $100 to install it'll be worth it.
