btw, no new xdrive system either? I thought even the X3 is getting that. All it says is "xDrive, all-wheel-drive system with variable torque split" ...

An article for the current '07:
BMW's four-wheel traction solution is the latest version of its xDrive all-wheel drive system, which in the X5 typically provides a 40/60 front/rear split, but can send as much as 100 per cent of the available torque to either end of the vehicle.

Nothing new here.

No good stuff for USA. US did not get saddle brown and camel interior. Canada has it on E70.

Manual side sun shades are now included with rear climate package.

That would put a fully equiped E70 at over 80k which is ridiculous, but if someone wants to have these options and pay for them, why not offer them? Can you imagine how many more visits to the stealer with even more tech on board.

I would kind of guess that the price list would not be released till after labor day. If you look at most segments of the economy products announcements are quite. But on Tuesday, the race is back on for the consumers dollars.

So I guess I have to ask now - what's this March '08 date that keeps getting thrown around? Is it like a half-model-year update with potential new goodies?
