That skid plate looks so good on that color. I really like the mod and have thought about doing it too, but my X is black and I'm not sure I'd get the same kind of bang for the buck out of it... Congrats!

Looks great
Was it difficult to install - how much drilling is involved?

What if you get the skid plate and have it painted to look like steel. Like those in the Cayenne. I think black would look good with a metal finish look skid plate.

Is the skid plate of the cayenne metal or plastic?

Thanks! Yeah! it was very difficult to install. I had my dealer install it and it took them 5 hours!!!! The skid plate is not locally available in the Philippines so this was the first skid plate install by my dealer.

The mechanic didn't use the screws provided with the skid plate because they look very weak... drilled 3 holes on my X

Hmmm, interesting thought. I have the titanium grills, so maybe even that color would look good.

So why was is so hard to install? Did you get any details on that? I can't imagine drilling a few holes would be all that challenging - especially if you have a lift.

yeah! i really cannot imaging how hard is it to drill the holes, fit some nuts, bolts and washers to get it on! hehe. I was so pissed that I didn't ask why they have such a hard time installing. I just told them to GET IT DONE!

I think painting it to a metal finish or same as your titanium grill would be nice

Looks Great! Did it come silver or did you have to get it painted? How much total for the parts and install?
