Whistle ok i will ask the question different way

i have xenon bulbs with projection headlight... am suspecting the left bulb performance as it sometimes turns off and then comes on...
so can you tell me what is the bulb type that matchs?

It might also be the ballast. Switch the bulb from the good headlight and see if it stays on. If so it's the bulb, if not it's the ballast. Wear latex gloves, the oil from your skin will damage the bulb.

I think you need D2S Xenon bulbes but if it goes on and off it sound like bad/lose/weak conatct or even balast which is most expensive. They are alse sensitive on voltage input but you would noticed if you have bad batery or alternator on other thing too.

the manual says H7 ... with a star under Xenon option not much details.. i have xenon but spesific part number am not sure of...
i read the forum so its easy for me to read the manual

anyway, about the ballast...which model fits? or its only 1 model ?

Sometime the easy route is the best route. This would have taken 5 minutes with a call to the dealer. Now it's 24 hours later? Doesn't make much sense to me

I dont know PN but i think you can use any of them even from some other vehicle type. They have same conectors and work under same voltage. Got bunch of them on eBay

my X5 was imported from USA and if i went to the dealer (which is only one) for anything he will cost me an arm and leg and will let me hate my X5 because of the problems he will pretend that my X5 has...
