Reset? 2002 X5 4.6iS

Hi all,

Just got myself a 2002 X5 4.6iS for only a couple of days. Other than the excellent drive, it surely has a lot more options / features than I could read or learn about in too little time.

So I was wondering what's the best way to do a "Reset" of the car without requiring any coding?.... such as Timers, Dist, Consumption.... or whatever memories.. etc.

Thanks.

sounds like a great truck. As for resetting the consumption, etc. press the bc button on the bottom right of your radio display, pull up whatever you want to reset, then simply press the reset button. easy as 1-2-pie

Sorry... forgot to mention that it has the 16:9 Nav screen with DSP (but without the actual Nav unit).

I've just got the car but been overseas too much recently, so haven't got any chance to take photos yet.. will do so and post them up as soon as I can ;-)

But check out my X3 site in the mean time ;-)

been a while since I really played around with that, but I believe if you click on board computer in the main menu, whatever info you scroll to should reset if you click on it with the right wheel. could be wrong though

Coming soon coming soon.... still being away for business right now...:-(

But really, it's nothing more than just a standard Silver Gray pre-facelift 4.6iS at the moment. Will be putting in the Projector53 headlights, and the DICE or something.. but that's probably it as the car itself is pretty much fully fitted with the options already!

Still, I'll take some pics and post them up asap ;-)

Thank you all for the tips. Will try them out as soon as I get back!
