Clunking sound in the rear over bump...

I think it's either or both of these:
rubber-mount (item 2, 3 and 4)
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=FB33&mospid=47746&btnr=33_1028& hg=33&fg=30

or
balljoint (item 2)
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=FB33&mospid=47746&btnr=33_1029& hg=33&fg=30

But no article on how to replace these.
I have the ZDMAK tools for balljoint (I think, I am not at home right now) just want to see if anybody done this work before.
Thanks.

Have you tried adjusting your rear hatch stops? The rear hatch, if not correctly adjusted, can rattle and sound like suspension noise.

I applied Silicon grease on the rubber bushing where the sway bar rest and it seems to reduce the clunking to almost none.
But the rear hatch is another possibility, though the sound seems to come from under the car so it's unlikely. But I'll check. Thanks.
