voice activation question

ok so hit the button on the steering wheel and it says voice act on the display ,,i then say a command and nada then she says sorry???? what is that about ,,,,,do all the 4.6is come with that or is it an option?????,,,,,also do i have to turn on the pdc or its on when the cars on ???? thanks alot guys

On the voice command question, hit the button again and say "help". Your PDC is activated when you are in reverse.....Phil

still nada ,,,,,If the button is held down and the dash cluster reads voice activation ,,,,it means I deff have it right ????? I say help and nada happens then it says its off ,,hummmmm

It says "Voice Recognition" not Voice Activation. What, precisely are you trying to do via voice rec? Do you have nav? there are a million variables. Please tell us what you drive (4.6is), what options does it have, etc.. and we can answer your question better.

yes it beeps and then after a 40secs it turns off,,,thanks for the link

still nada if I bring her to the stealership will they help me out or is it a charge operation ???
