Well i think its a great time to buy x5's, and petrols are even cheaper and i suppose worth converting to gas!!
i recently bought a 2005 3.0D auto black 45k genuine miles, full black leather & full comms pack (sat nav/tv/cd/tape/radio/bluetooth) 1 owner, fbmwsh, doesnt have xenons or heateed seats - as you know options is what adds the value! I ended up "giving it away" for £18000.
Sad to see the X go especially at such a low price, but I am really liking the 325d. Getting 32MPG where I got 15MPG in the X5 and it is quite quick. The X6 is starting to grow on me, might hold on to the 325d for a couple of years then move into the xDrive35d
