How do I adjust the fog lights in my pre-facelift X5?

If I remember correctly, there is an adjustment screw on the top of the fog light housing.

ok!! thank you X5Dawg...same question....on our prefacelift models, where is the adjustment....I never saw anything like that! Hmmm??? If anyone figures this out please let me know.....

I think it's in the lower section, but none the less, there is one. It's far back, you may have to take the light out to see it. A long thin philips(think it was like 6in) is what I used for mine.

do the light alignment first. one is probably on a higher degree than the other

Just.....do you know exactlu how to do the adjusting on our models???

In otherwords when I remove the "projector housing"....then what do I do???? I've never seen an adjustment "dial"....???

Don't take out the housing. leave it screwed in and there should be a screw on the bottom that u turn with a screwdriver just like the headlights. did you make sure the foglights where snapped in on top? There is a clip on top that must be pushed on as well as the 2 screws.

The screw is between the two screws that hold the foglight on. at night u have to adjust the lights.
