running board question

I was just looking around on RealOEM at the running board retrofit kit for the aluminum running boards and noticed it said "NOT SUITABLE FOR VEHIC. WITH 20" TIRES."

What's the deal? Is there another kit for cars with larger tires? Thanks!

Absolutely not!! I have 22" wheels and I love my Brushed Aluminum Running Boards. I diy'd the running boards. It took about 3 hours for the removal of the old trim and to install the new..

Make sure that you get the green gun from NAPA specifically for plastic rivets as that is one of the keys of a successful install. I paid like $20bucks for mine..

Here are some pics with the running boards..

You won't have any problems,
I have OEM running board with 20 and 22" rims, no problem at all!
