Mod Bug Bites Again... Coming Soon MODs

ORIGINAL POST EDITED SLIGHTLY

OK.. summer is hear (officially after 100 degree weather), and the MOD Bug is biting... hard! Must not have sprayed yet. I'll post pics as they are done.. I need new tires (just patched my bridgestone pass rear) - so I'm just going to upgrade to 20s.. why not!! I'm torn on what I want.. end of the post will be the pictures of what I'm looking at, basically 214s, 168s, M6 reps... or some silver ones

EDIT - 214s installed!!

These are done:
Pedal set including dead pedal
Carbon Fibre silver roundels
Custom M3 Roof Spoiler
20" 214s with Vredestein Tires

To Install:
SSG wheel (finally!!)
Interior LEDs

Coming Soon:
4.6 kit (finally!!)
Running Boards (rep or OEM - not a question.. lol )

Thinking about:
Interior Trim (black or titanium or CF - any thoughts welcome-pics too -i have grey interior).
Lowering - agressive stance
Flares (maybe too expensive for the look)

WHEEL OPTIONS - AND THE WINNER IS....:

214s
(will post daylight pics soon)
Front Wheel Size: 20 x 10
Back Wheel Size: 20 x 11

I just got a set of flares arch for good deal from bostonblux5 and got the pair of rear bumber support to complete with the fenders flares arch at my local junk jard for $60. will install all those parts this weeken.

My vote is for 87's!

But, if it's between the ones above, I would go with the 168's...they are my second favorite X5 OEM rim.

M6 rims belong on the M6...they don't look good on the X5.

I have had 22"erz for a while now! The Ride is ok and no complaints for either a long journey or back and forth to Work!

Nice list of Mods you have there! I am friggin addicted and can't stop myself!! I may seek help! Michelle told me she could recomend a good DR. to help with this addiction....LOL!! any suggestions!! ..just order HID FOG LIghts from Dave at Customangeleyes....(where i got my new headlights)

BTW.....I like 20"87's and 168's about the same........I would just put them on specific models....For instance....I would put 87's on a 3.0 for an upgraded look or a 4.4......but I would go for the 168's with the kit's and fender flares...kinda like the way a 05+ 4.8is looks....or a 4.6...you dig??

I did OEM running boards a month ago now, the week before the meet!

total DIY! took 2.5 hours from tear down to build...if you will...get that green gun from napa....that is key!!!

Thanks!! I think it's actually therapuetic - nothing better than going out there after you got your shipment. Well, waiting for the shipment is one of the best parts too lol

4.6 kit is $610 before the price of the parts has gone up. The flares just went up from $185 to $230 a piece. The bumper support, got mine at $111, now its more than $130 a piece. You will be spending quite a large sum of money with your list. Post some pics later.

I just installed my bumper support and fender flares and i love them! I wil be getting the fronts as well.
