sweet.. all i need now is the folding mirrors! lol pretty expensive upgrade for what you get out of it.. i've been eying ebay.. almost got one.. if i had connections to manufacturers there are a few things i'd make for our X5s that would be nice alternatives to OEM.. lol

Umnitza sells this module too.
http://www.umnitza.com/product_info....d0c3f0c80b041c

EAS also has them but only for E46
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...f40c54acb1b077

they do have module for E46 but your car has to have folding mirror motor already.

eMirror will fit other applications, provided the BMW already has folding mirrors. We are CS's only US-authorized dealer.

hi,
I am planning on installing the folding mirror on my X5. It seems quite hard to get a used driver's door switch in the UK.

I can see a few on ebay in the states. Are they exactly the same?

cheers cooa99

Very nice mods Wuzin.
Steering wheel mod is by far my favorite for the X.

There's not much to installation, you're simply tapping into 3 wires behind the gauge cluster with the included wire taps.

Total install is about 20 minutes.

OK - i think i saw that somewhere. Is the door switch mandatory? I am retrofitting the folding mirrors and was thinking of skipping the drivers side switch that includes the folding mirror button.

It shouldn't be, but we're installing on a 2002 530i w/ M5 mirrors this week to verify.
