Car wash / wheel arches

Went to a car wash...one that i've never been to and will never return to. Those spinning brushes that clean the sides pulled out the pieces in the rear wheel hubs, right before wheel arches (nearest rear bumper). I can upload a pic if anyone's not clear on the piece i'm describing. I was able to pop them back into the rivets but concerned they may pop out again perhaps while driving (or fall apart during a hight speed chase! ).

I usually take her to an auto boutique that does most of my mods but i've got a long and free weekend so thought i'd turn this into a DIY...has this happened to any of you and any thoughts on how to secure?

Don't know what piece you are talking about?

I never take my X to a car wash with brushes. I wash myself most of the time and only in winter it goes to hand wash place I know is good.

Yes never take your X to carwash with spinning brushes of any kind...In fact I dont take mine to any car wash anymore..If I don't have time to do it myself, I let it stay dirty..its not worth the trouble with the carwash places..

I find the touchless ones not too bad, as long as you wipe it down afterwards with a MF and finish detailing it.

Unfortunately...i don't have the simple luxury of a water hose in my building to give her the attention she deserves. There are literally less than a handfull of DIY carwashes in my area and the wait can sometimes be worse than traffic in Manila! This leaves me with few choices...but i'm finished with these so-called "full service" carwashes. I'll take a picture of the part and upload when i get a chance.

Thanks for the feedback!

Here's a pic of the part...both sides pulled out. They now come out of the rivets will little effort. Any thoughts on how secure?

You may need new rivets.
