Are you sure on the new SIB? I thought BMW SIB's were 6 digit, not 7, in length.

Here is SIB 240106 direct from BMWNA for the harsh downshift for 4.4/4.8 X5 (N62).

Rough Downshifts

I have this problem still even after trying the transmission reset and the dealer reflashing. I am going to be taking it back soon and see if I can take someone for a ride and show them how to replicate the problem. I will also print out the information on the TSB#.
