Well just got an update from my SA.....He says they tried to start car again and go figure It's dead again. So they have the car wiring completely exposed and are checking each circuit...... They appear to be stumped..... anyone out here know if lemon law is applicable to a 2003 X5 second owner who purchased car while vehicle was under original factory warranty. With extended warranty???? Help

Thanks motor d
It's gotten to the point where I've stopped being pissed. "I used to be amazed..... now I'm just amused"
I guess it would be a real issue if I didn't have a second and third means of transportation. It is a pain though.
Oh I mentioned to the SA that I have a road trip planned the end of this month and asked if my X wasn't repaired if I could take the loaner on my trip California to New Mexico.... to my surprise he said nooooo he also said that my car would be ready by then......... survey says..... Buuuuuuzzzzzzz I DON'T think sooo

Any bets on which one of us can get their X5s fully working again? Haha!

My X5 won't be looked at until Monday, but if I can glean any information on my X5, i'll be sure to relay them to you.

Ok...finally got my X5 looked at by a new dealership. They seem to think they have found the problem with the dying battery. The technician spent the past 2 days testing the car to see what is drawing a current from the battery and they said it was the TCU. They're replacing it under warranty. Not completely sure what the TCU does, but if that was what was causing the current draw, Eddybilt, you might want your service tech to try looking there. Good luck!
