Haven't had much success finding the intrax module on the web. Does anyone have a link (or a better alternative for lowering my 4.8is)? Thanks

What dealer did it for you?

STALKER, sorry for the late response. Yes I had the dealer (BMW Toronto) lowered the 4.8is for me although they're very reluctant to perform this service. Good thing I have a very good relationship with them. But since I've purchased a lowering module made by car-solution which will give me flexibility in lowering or raising the ride height by 80mm. This works by pressing the volume buttons.

Do You need full air suspension to get the x5 programmed to be lowered by the dealer? Becuase i have a 4.4 with self leveling rear only.

Does this module override the 24 mph raise/lower governor?

zerochief, no it won't but this shouldn't matter since at each setting (low, med,hi) your car would sit lower by up to 80mm. The adustable ride height would still be in effect. Your X5 just sits lower at each setting, that's all. Cheers.

Ok thanks breytonX5. What's involved with the install? Is it difficult?

I haven't install this module yet but it looks to be a simple project thich involves removing the instrument cluster housing and the steering wheel upper trim to get to the multifuntion buttons. After that just match up a few wires and that's about it.
