D/C outlet question

I noticed that my phone continued charging on the car's DC socket even if the car engine has been turned off. My question is, If a leave a device (phone, GPS, etc.) plugged in the DC socket , say overnight or longer, will this drain my car battery?

The draw from a phone, GPS, or other small device should not drain your battery noticably. I've done it many times.

Thanks Tomaz. Other cars cut-off DC source when you turn the a/c key switch off.

when your phone is done charging it doesn't draw any more power
it's not like leaving lights on overnight...
