I had the 'dotted' aluminium in mine - horrible. Much too bright and it marked/scratched as soon as loo at it.

The previous ( one woman ) owner had totally trashed the drivers side door pull with her rings/nails/teeth or something. Totally pitted and scratched.

I bought a cheap (off fleabay) set of titan grey trim (cost me £50 ) and boy does it look so much better. Also seems much more durable too....

Agree with Jeff and True, that Grey Poplar is the best overall.

i vote for Grey Poplar wood trim, i have the dark wood in my car at the moment and am looking for a change....where are you buying them from is there a place online??????? here in australia the full set is over $1500aussie dollars

I'd probably order parts online thru one of the BMW retailers that often specialise in parts discounts.
