2008 Executive Demo

We test drove an executive demo today. This thing is loaded! More than we need. They are selling with the original 4 year/50k mile warranty and .9% financing. Has ~3k miles. The warranty is from the IN-service date of February, so only 3 1/2 years left.

The list was 48.9, they want 44.9. We agreed on 43.9k My skills as a KickAss negotiator are lacking.

Can someone tell me when the body style is scheduled to change (2010?) and what changes are expected next year (2009)? I assume at some point they are going to add the iDrive system. Thanks.

Also, What IS an executive demo?

Executive Demo: a fluff term applied to any non-titled car sitting around
a stlr's lot; it can be the "go get lunch car", the "secretary of the month's"
weekend ride, a test ride car for tire kickers, or even on occasion, an
"executive" of the stlrship takes it home so his spoiled kid can drive it around and show it off.

It's 10#s of bs in a 5# bag, imo.

You overpaid, imo...but if you like, enjoy it and welcome to the
Board.

The redesign of the X3 will be for model year 2011, which arrives late 2010.

Changes for 2009 will be minimal if any. iDrive and all those other toys will never make it onto the current X3.

I don't about the price or anything but these x3's are pretty danm fun to drive! I just got one as a loaner sort of loaded and it is pretty fun to drive. The only thing I don't like is the rear seat room which is obviously going to be less then an x5. Sorry for hijacking your thread and not helping with your question. But just had to post about how fun it is to drive.
