As i undestand there is no difference without nav or with nav.
Ipod interfaces are different if car has Top-hifi or not.

If your ipod interface is connected to radio - then just connect it to new one.
If your ipod interface is connected to DSP amplifier via coaxial cable- then you dont need any changes.

Maybe after NAVI coding you will be need to code Ipod interface again.

What ipod conection do you have ?
One that lets you run your ipod with your stearing wheel, and displays song names etc. on your stereo.
Or the one that lets you get the sound trough AUX input ?

Kostas
Before I retrofitted my Professional Sat Nav which I believe you have
done as well,I got the BMW dealer to install the BMW IPOD interface with
the cable /connector running into the glovebox. He did ask me if I have
Sat Nav or CD changer and I said no at the time.It takes them about an
hour to fit.

Because I retrofitted the Professional Sat Nav I I thought the ipod
cable may be different,I left the original wiring as it was and tried it
and it turns out it works fine ,exactly as before.
..and displays the track number on the monitor.Just rang my dealer BMW
have said to me today that there is just one part no. /one type of kit
they do for the X3
Part no. is 65410409610 in the UK

Thanks
David
