~CustomAngelEyes.com "X5 Angel Eye 3.0 System"

Here is the newest improvement to our Angel Eye line. After testing and development they were shipped out to the first customer early this week. (Of course the 2.0 system is still available, and it also looks great, and many people like the look better)

Improvements over X5 Angel Eye 2.0 System:

-Full sized high beam ring(fills entire high beam area)
-Better match to OEM Xenon color
-Slightly brighter
-Better cold operation

We are not selling kits here, these are complete X5 Angel Eye packages ready to be installed into the vehicle.

Of course these carry our same proven warranty, we have only happy customers!

Contact us for X5 World pricing!

Comparison vs. 2.0 System(smaller high beam ring)

It should be noted that the corners are indeed completely clear.

its really just the matter of finding a different bulb,
ezak found a 20w to replace the 10w thats stock, it makes it a bit brighter, i know he was looking for a solution to make the angel eyes white like xenons,

the base of the bulb is a BA9S

be careful when using the higher watts as it seems to melt the housing
if you do melt it, here is the part #63 12 6 916 097 - bout 25 bucks

Here is ezak's thread:

Last year we were invloved in developing a complete replacement system for the OEM Angel Eyes. It would invlove a "HID xenon like" bulb and ballasts, instead of the simple halogen bulb. It was much brighter and perfectly 100% white. It would create no addiditonal heat then the OEM bulb.

We postponed developent because we were unsure on interest. Total product price for both headlights would be around $250-300. Please understand that this would not simply be a "new bulb", it is a complete custom machined plug and play system, including expensive contol units, ballasts etc. The light would never burn out, unlike a halogen.

Let me know if anyone is interested in this, we would need about 10 pre-order deposits to continue manufacturing.

Dave - when u say,

"We are not selling kits here, these are complete X5 Angel Eye packages ready to be installed into the vehicle"

and

"Total product price for both headlights would be around $250-300. Please understand that this would not simply be a "new bulb", it is a complete custom machined plug and play system, including expensive contol units, ballasts etc."

are u talking about just the AE's or are u talking about the entire headlight assembly?
