id like to upgrade my 2005 4.4 X5 so the DRL looks like the new E70. which kit do you recommend to achieve that look?

so when i have my lights set to auto the angel eyes will always be on with this system? currently the DRLs are on when lights are set to auto.

Correct - they will work just like OEM, only shine brighter since they are LED based.

i need a mechanic to do this install for me. can you recommend anyone in NYC? EAS should have an east coast arm. we love bmw's out here as well!

The installation is incredibly simple - either yourself or an experienced installed (even audio) can do this in minutes.

We've installed them into the DEPO e36 & e46 headlamps, I have not had a chance to verify in the e53 versions (if DEPO-branded at all).

You shouldn't have any issues, but I'd like to see for myself before committing to an answer.
