So i did and logged how often the error comes on. For 3 consecutive days and 3 times i started the engine on 1st day, it only comes on once. 2nd day, first start in the morning, error comes on. Not on second, third up to the last start. 3rd day, nothing on all start except when the last turn off of the engine at night when i got home late. So like i said, intermittent and it strikes whenever. But i like the lights and it doesnt fail to lit up, just some weird error on dash.

EDIT: By the way nick, do you have the aluminum running board in stock in Santa Clara store that i can check out and see how it looks? OEM seem to stick out big time.

There is a 15% restocking fee as this is a special order item.
