Wheel lug fitment question: e70 wheel on e53

I am mounting a set of 2008 X5 wheels (18x8.5 style 209 with 46mm offset) on my 2004 3.0 that has the stock 17x7.5 style 130 (V spoke) wheels with 48mm offset.
Can I use my exisiting wheel lugs?

I have a set of 20" OEM E70 rims on my E53 and I used my original lugs with no issues at all. I did use hub-centric rings, however, to adapt for the different hub size.

That info is much appreciated.
Yes, I just bought some polycarbonate hugcentric rings.
Would be interested in knowing what type (metal v. plastic) rings you have.
Do you need any anti-seize compound?
Thanks.

I used plastic rings, so no anti-seize compound was necessary for mine
