Turning the wheels

I want to turn my front wheels tomorrow off the ground to see if anything is binding. If both wheels are off the ground, will they rorate in park or do I do need to put the car in Neutral? Can I leave the handbrake on?

Thanks,

Gary

binding? you can leave in drive and you should leave the handbrake on for safety.

New Caliper

OK...so I got the wheels off today and rotated them and I couldn't hear or feel any binding on the wheel so I wnet out ahead and bedded the new brake pads in and it feels/sounds like the noise has gone.
