My first brake job in 1975 was similar. Damn Plymouth (Ignorance is a good excuse the first time). My X5 was my first disc job. Hayaku (I think) has a good DIY post. Took me about 8 hours. At least three on the first one and much faster on the rest. Live in Maryland...we don't get a lot of snow around the Capital area so corrosion wasn't an issue.
