$285 with labor from my independent German mechanic. For me, I have no problem with DIY projects. But when it comes to brakes, I'll leave that to more qualified folks.

it's probably one of the easier DIY jobs there is, but that price makes me wonder what my time is worth. I guess i enjoy the work and get some satisfaction out of knowing that I did it.
