Damaged 20" Rim

I clipped a curb with my 20" rim and I lost. The edge of the rim now has a small blemish in it now. I am always so careful but the opening to the garage was too narrow for my turn.

Rear rim cost $611 and front rim cost $589 for replacement.

I have been looking online and found some companies that can repair the damage for about $125 plus shipping.

Anyone know of a place that does a good job? I am going to order the new rim and have the damaged one repaired to be a spare.

I will add a photo tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that happened. Keep shopping around for rims if you decide to replace it since that price seems a bit high... I have been quoted as low as $1725 for a set of 4. PM me if you want the guy's email.

I normally order my BMW stuff from a dealer out of state. Even with the shipping.... it is cheaper than from my dealer.

Thanks!!! I looked all over. I will contact the company and see what I can do. I would hate to have to send the rim out for a week.

Several of the tire shops in the Bay Area does rim repairs. They did it on my friend's 18" rim which cost $150.00 and took couple hours. His entire rim was badly scratched. You can try checking your local tire shops.

Yea that's tiny. I have curb rash on our X3 that's bigger than that, and even I don't fuss about it too much.
