Escort Passport Solo S2 F/S
I have two cars and three high quality radar detectors; one has to go. My V1 is hardwired into the X3 and the Escort 8500 is hardwired into the 330i. That leaves the Solo S2.
This unit comes in its original box with all packing materials: manuals, mounting bracket, suction cups and hard case. It is in like-new condition. I used it very little. I think I went through one set of batteries with it before I sold the vehicle in which it was being used. This unit is battery powered, so you don't have to hardwire it or run a power plug to your cigarette lighter. In my experience, the batteries will last for a month or two between replacement. The unit has a motion detector that will automatically power down the unit in case you forget, along with a battery meter that shows how much battery life remains when you turn it on. It's very easy to use and very effective at finding radar and LIDAR (well, as effective as any detector can be at finding laser, I might add). If you want to hardwire it or use a power plug, it has a standard Escort power port. Here's a link for a picture and more information: http://www.drivingcomfort.com/index....tail=2&cid=187 If you prefer to avoid using a power plug or don't want to hardwire a radar detector into your car, this is the way to go. Or, if you travel much using rental cars, this is the ticket (figuratively speaking, of course). Speaking of tickets, a speeding ticket will likely cost you more than I'm asking for this unit. A new Solo S2 is $329. I'm asking $250 shipped and insured via UPS (USA only). Paypal preferred. I have 100% positive feedback in Ebay (my user name is "emhtwo") and can provide X5World references, if needed. Please drop a PM or an email to me if you have any questions. My email address is "e6453@hotmail.com". Thanks - Mike
