Looking to upgrade to a true SLR digital camera? I'm selling a like-new Nikon D40 6-megapixel kit, in original box with all manuals. I purchased it new from Circuit City on 12/31/07 for $515. The Nikon kit comes with the camera body, battery, charger, strap, USB2 cable, software and an AF-S DX 18-55mm zoom lens. I am including with it a 4GB PNY HC-SD card and a new unused Nikon kit bag that measures approximately 9"x9"x12".

I'm selling it because, quite honestly, I am a camera klutz and I simply prefer my viewfinder Sony. Ignorance is truly bliss, no?

In this morning's Circuit City ad, the same unit without the memory card or bag was $499. It's likely a little less on Ebay, but not much. Throw in both items and tax and/or shipping and you'll likely have around $600 in everything. I'm looking for $480 shipped for everything via insured UPS.
