Question

Is there a way to burn the image with Nero 6?

Quick and easy burn with ImgBurn. (I highly recommend that utility, more control than with Alcohol 120% or Nero.) Loaded perfectly in my MKIV on the first try. I did not see any obvious changes or improvements in my initial use.

I installed it yesterday and everything works fine. No errors or non-working nav. I used ImgBurn.

This page requires a password. Any idea what it is?

Never mind. I'm obviously blind.

Rather than wait for the official statement from BMW, anyone have access to the Alldata database? Someone once posted a link to it to get a list of all the BMW TSB's and now it no longer works. You can do a "free" search on it, but for some reason BMW is not one of the listed manufacturers! In any case, it had a number of the older bulletins regarding the Nav updates (ver. 25, 26, 27, etc). I'm sure the latest versions will have been written up already.

I burned a new copy today using Alcohol 120% & it loaded & works perfectly. What a hassle - & for what benefit? I can't see any difference from V28, except the Dutch language.... & I don't speak Dutch - so what the heck!

@ Winkle

Nevertheless, I am happy to hear that you didn't wreck your sat-nav completely

Update worked perfectly for me, but as the others said: No obvious changes visible.

Burned the Alcohol 120% image with ImgBurn. Updated my nav without any problems. Working fine. No obvious changes.
