...uuuhhh, my head is still spinning from driving in circles...

BUT... I'm sorry to say that I don't understand the algorithm how the SW is placing the background image wrt the direction you go to. There is some correlation of course but it doesn't seem to work precise at all.
The image itself is stunning though!!!

Can someone else try and give us a hint if there's any way to make this feasible? It doesn't matter which background image you have - just try to find out if some significant element of your picture always points you to a specific cardinal point (i.e. is always right in front if you go e.g. south). Of course it is easier with the scales above - and a nice show anyhow!
WATCH OUT - don't kill too many pedestrians when doing this!!!

Changing default map color?

This is a little bit darker than the original 24 24 24 and you will have enough contrast to see the white planned route very good.
Everybody must find his own preference for area and route.

I changed the default map color under "colors->rom_col->map colors->default map area" but the color did not change. The system did update since my new splash screen worked. I noticed there are rom_col though rom_col11. Which rom_colx needs to be changed and why are there 12 different ones. I just want to make the map background darker since most of the roads are shown in yellow, while most of the background map is light grey making it hard to see the roads.

Tom-X3, so you are able to see the color change, but only on Color SET 2? I did not see the color change on either color set. I see you tied 0-12 for color set 1, but do you know which rom_colx worked for color set 2?

Yes you are right, I only see the color change in SET 2.

For color Set you have to change Rom_col 2 or 3 (full / split or split / full) i think.

Thanks Tom-X3, I'll try changing Rom_col 2 or 3 and see if that works for me. I only changed Rom_col & Rom_col1 before. Do you have have 2 color sets? I only have 2, but I have a 2007 Z4 coupe. It would be nice to enable more color sets so I could experiment with differnt color scemes.

Have you ever played with red light camera or speed camara entires? I live in the USA and wanted to add this stuff but can't find any info on it.

Matt - I'm particularly interested in using your 'Angle Wing', but would like to replace all existing 24 variables. Did you get around to modding the full compliment?

I call it angle wing - it will grant you a perfect view on all things in front of you.

I already tested / joined it the last thousand km.
The shown 3 icons are suficient to cover all possible cases, if you are using mode perspective not pointing north.

Just use navtweak to exchange the original icons and join.

Kind regards,

Matthias
