Recent Views From Our Deck...

Here in HillbillyHeaven, at 5,000 ft elevation.
I needed a PoliticsBreak and I haven't tossed
up "view" pics in about, oh...a week.

The Fall is a great time of year here as the sunrises
start to get pretty damn dramatic. NEway some
shots of sunrises a few days ago and a couple of
sunsets with the clouds floating above the ridge
across from us. Thanks for looking!
BR,mD

Sunrises...

And, sunset across the ridge and on the clouds, this eve...

Your usual excellent work, mD!

That valley fog is very stunning to me every time. Really cool and dynamic. Hopefully one of these weeks, I too can take some pics since I'm also at the foothills of the Appalachian Mtns.

The term "So beautiful it makes me sick!" comes to mind...

Should I ask what career choices allowed you to live there? My current career will likely top out at about 70 - 80k-ish in about a decade... would be nice to make a six digit salary

Great photos MD but I must say that I prefer water front views.

The Senate pass the bailout plan tonight so the view is getting better everywhere.

Hey mD, you've got that morning mist machine running on full power.

Doesn't seem fair, most people have to plan a trip, get up early and drive for hours to get a setup like that. All you have to do is walk 10 ft in your slippers and robe.

beautiful... I've only been to the base of the area, but can see that it only gets better... Awesome. You should set up a vidcam for a day, I've tried that at the mtn back home and it looks really cool when you dump it in final cut and play around with it.
