95º and bright sunshine in South Carolina (upstate).
They expected it to hit here, but nope. We could use it, too... CFO is getting ready for a rainy weekend back home, with a book and maybe even a fire. 54 for a low, lucky... |

Some showers started last night. Today it was a steady rain and some very mild wind only, nothing to be hyped up about. In fact, it's tapering off now. Very wet, but that's about it.

currently down here in Dewey with a few Gator fans. UF finally beat UM (freaking criminals). We are waiting for the sun to come up, surf should be awesome tomorrow...can't wait! Love the fall and ride the "bus" also known as riptide and catch some waves!
Also, when there's a hurricane it's a great excuse to have a hurricane party! So, Laura go down the shore and party with your pals, there's 2 Hurricane party coming (IKE and Josephine) if you didn't know already

In the NY Metro area the storm was not a big deal it started raining around 4:00 PM and was done by Midnight. We did get four inches of rain and some wind but no big deal.
I had pulled my boat out on Friday night and as it turns out I did not need to but better to be safe than sorry. |
