Quite the contrast. Top five percent versus the bottom one-half percent. |

![]() But only one candidate...is a Socialist ![]() So, putting a ton of weight in schools huh? He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University in 1968, and then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975. That is the current George Dubbya ![]() I for one would pick a mid over an ivy every time.

So long as the president is not asked to change a spark plug... so what? They both received top notch education. Obama was a Constitutional law scholar who graduated the top five percent of his class and was the editor-in-chief of the Harvard Law Review. Neither of which did not come without hard work and a seriousness of purpose. McCain was an Annapolis grad who chose to party than be a serious student. |

living around the academy my entire life, even the most "party" mid is better then the vast majority of 3.0+ college peeps. Anyone who has visited or been to the academy and witnessed their "schooling" will know that as fact. But that is me ![]() Does that make McCain better? To someone with a socialist persuasion who loves government oversight and help via tax dollars...probably not. Does Harvard pull anyone who back McCain, probably not. Either candidate trying to act as if they have anything in common with the average American is completely wrong. neat little "harvard" fact: who applied there and was not accepted?? Warren Buffett ![]() |

OK...Obama is qualified to be a lawyer, editor or a professor. One of my best friends is a university professor and a prominent psychiatrist. He graduated at the top of an ivy league college and is very intelligent. One thing he lacks...Common sense. There is something to be said about a real world education. |

So, I guess the guy who finished at the bottom 1/2 percent of his class at Annapolis is better than...? In John McCain's class of 899, there were only 5 guys that performed worse than he. I wonder what those guys are doing right now? |

I think this housing gaffe is blown way out of proportion. According to an article I read on the issue, only three of eight houses are actually lived in by John and Cindy. Like Mr. LabGuy suggested, the rest are actually used as investment "flips".
Also, you have to be pretty intelligent to be accepted to the Naval Academy or West Point. Just because somebody graduated last does not make them stupid. If someone graduated last from Harvard, would they be considered unintelligent? I don't think so.
