Pinched the wound closed and glued the top of the skin trying not to glue my other fingers to my head. I needed to do this in three steps due to the length of the wound. As for the bleeding...I remembered reading somewhere that this was experimented with in Vietnam to quickly close the wounds of bleeding men who would have otherwise bled to death. That is why I did not wait longer before applying the glue. |

What you did was fine. You could have held pressure longer to stop the bleeding, gently cleaned the skin, and applied the glue when everything was dry. Eyelids have excellent vasculature and heal very well. You should be just as ugly as ever. |
