Thanks for the congrats on the natl title for my jayhawks. It was unreal.. I have an eerie feeling that the BullDogs can make a legitimate run to the BCS title game this year. If they win it all, You will have a glorious feeling like never felt before. I can't describe the feeling but its unreal. And any die hard loyal fan should have that feeling at least once in their life....Good luck!!

Primetime - I wanted to congrats you on the Jayhawks win, which of course I "forgot." When the Gators won the 3 National Champhionships it was a great feeling. And I agree everyone should feel it once in awhile. I lived in Kansas for 3 yr while I was in the service and took a couple of classes in Lawrence.

I am going to the Cocktail Party, South Carolina, and FSU games this year. It's going to be fun year in the SEC. That's why I like College Football because you never know who is going to do great!

Thanks!

UGA wins national championships all the freaking time, just not in sports I actually care about. Literally, since 2000 UGA has won 5 Men's tennis national championships, 2 Women's tennis national championships, 3 swimming and diving national championships, 4 gymnastics national championships, 3 equestrian national championships, 1 Men's golf national championship, 1 Women's golf national championship and the baseball team was one game away from winning the college world series this year.

I would gladly trade all of those for a national championship in football this year.

My season starts by rooting for the wild cats (Kentucky) and it ends up by rooting for any SEC team to make to BSC game. I hope we could do as good as last year!!
UGA always had good teams, but they don't always show up!! I will never forget when they lost to WV (I think) in the dome, but they more than made up for it last year again Hawaii. Too many tough game this season and I am not sure they will always be fired for them.
I think the Gators will be the team to beat in SEC.

Kentucky was pretty solid last year. Hopefully they can keep it going.

Please don't remind me about that WV game. I was there, in the nose bleeds, surrounded by a bunch of WV fans. It was horrible. Some of them were so drunk they were fighting amongst themselves. We didn't show up in the first half, spotted them like 4 TD's then nearly came back and won.

That Hawaii game was AWESOME. After all the hype surrounding Hawaii. I guess everyone forgot that they played 5 or so teams last year that had about 4 wins all year and they needed overtime to win about 2 or 3 times. I was really hoping for a UGA/USC, Hawaii/Illinois matchup instead.

I agree that Georgia didn't show up for a couple games at the beginning of the year. That all changed with the Florida game though. I am hoping that we can ride that wave into this year. We will see.

People here in the NE don't understand college football and sad to say really don't much care for the NFL myself. We have a huge Gator Alumni club here in Philly, we gather every Saturday at a restaurant and pretty much take over the place. We are not rude or anything just very loud.

Before the season starts all the SEC alumni clubs gather and party. We talk smack when we play against each other but, at the end of the game we are all friends. Except when we play Miami...Southern stuff gets me going especially the Southern ICE tea...I'll have it sweet please!

You know who scares me everytime? Nothing against the Dawgs or Volunteers...it's KY and Vandy, somehow the Gators have a hard time preparing for those 2 schools. The Gators should be good this year, unlike last year.

For you Ohio State and Michigan guys, HBO had a great special on the rivarly between the two schools last year. Not sure if you caught it. If not, keep it in mind this year and check HBO a week or two before the two schools meet again. It was great. Woody and Bo were pretty intense.

Just checked. It will be available on HBO on demand from 08/04 to 08/31. It is definately worth watching. If you are a fan of either school and havn't seen it, put it on your calendar. Even if you couldn't care less about either school, check it out. Any college football fan could appreciate it. That rivalry is truly special.
