Actually, the humidity is around 50% this time of year. It is monsoon season after all. High around 105F (41C), with afternoon thunderstorms possible every day of the month.

Ah so... Then I feel sorry for MrsLabGuy . Humidity is what makes the high temps so uncomfortable. I've been to Phoenix many times but never experienced any monsoons. It was always hot and dry.

I just got back from a place that was 106 degrees F and between 93% and 96% humidity. I didn't mind it too much, besides the fact that it felt like the sun was sitting on my neck

Wife just checked in...Hot as Hell and lightning flashing all around the mountains.

Funny thing...She's scared of Thunder but she has no problem with lightning. Scariest thing about lightning to her is it is usually followed by thunder.

HELLO! There were 0 reported fatalities from thunder last year. Thousands were hit by lightning of which several dozen were killed.

Oh well.

Humidity should be down a bit today and tomorrow, but that usually means hotter temps.

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articl...x-weather.html

Warmer weather can be expected today, and with those warm afternoon temps, and plenty of sunshine in the forecast, ozone levels are expected to increase.

Drier air is moving in from the west, and that means temperatures are going to be heating up. Today’s high will reach 108, slightly above our normal of 106, out at Phoenix Sky Harbor.

A Health Watch is in effect today for ozone, with an extension of that watch possible on Friday. Much drier today, with dew points dropping, and rain chances moving farther east.

By Saturday, the remnants of Hurricane Dolly get caught up in our Monsoon flow, therefore, bringing that moisture into the eastern half of the state. With this increase in moisture, we pick up a 30% chance of storms in the Valley for the weekend.

So she is staying at the clients corporate house in some fancy neighborhood and the corporate car she was given is a 2008 Porsche Carrera S convertible. She called me from the pool the other evening.

Nice Client.
