LOL...Obama today.

Knowing what he knows today about the success of the surge he would have still voted against the surge in Iraq.

Reason...We don't know if that was the true cause of the reduction in violence or if that would have happened anyway.

There is a solid decision maker for you. Don't do anything because if we do nothing something good could happen anyway.

Him and Congress should get along just fine.

I think that sure, he is running there, for president back home.

You need to pick who you think will be best for your country. US opinion seems to be with Obama at the moment, but there is lots of time for it to change.

Now, a question for you. Assume for a moment that there is broad Obama support outside the US, more than for McCain. What is world opinion worth back home? A few percentage points? More? Less? Does it influence US voters at all?

If outside opinion influenced US voters, Bush would not have won a 2nd term.

Outside opinion absolutely influenced many US voters to vote for Kerry. Just shows you what a loser Kerry is if he couldn't even beat Bush.

Another point of view.

Tell Me Again, Why Is Obama Being Popular With Our Allies a Bad Thing?

Interesting take on the subject.
