Clarksville/Nashville, TN help?
We are going to be heading to Clarksville, TN on Sunday for an AAU basketball tournament. I figured we'll dump some of the group (and the player) with others and head out to do other things. Since it's only 45min from Nashville, I was hoping to head there for at least one day. The problem is that I will have an 8 year old with me. Do you have any suggestions for places to go in Clarksville/Nashville with an 8 year old? Where's the best shopping? Any good museums for kids?
Along the same lines, we'll be heading straight from Clarksville to the Outer Banks and plan to go I-40 all the way across. That means we'll be on I-40 for a LOOOONG time. We'll be making that trip on a Saturday and Sunday so hopefully traffic won't be an issue. Is there anything I should be aware of along I-40? Should be fun to take the X5 through all the new areas and go sightseeing! |

Great place to take an 8 year old in Nashville is the Adventure Science Center.
http://www.adventuresci.com/ Your best mall would probably be Opry Mills... retail outlets including Ann Taylor, Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5TH, the Gap and Old Navy, plus Dave & Busters, the Aquarium Restaurant and other attractions for the kid. http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1259 |
