At the time of the January upgrade there were a lot of complaints from folks who also had recently bought their iPod Touches... after a few irate cals to Apple Customer service apple decided to give the $19.95 upgrade FREE to those who had purchased within a few weeks of the upgrade (Jan 2 I think).

I told a co-worker about this and true enough, she complained and got the upgrade for free (ITunes Store credit).

Since I bought mine in December, I was out of luck.... so I jailbroke it - that's FREE!

so WTF are you bitching about.

I feel what you are saying, but after doing the update Imyself think it's well worth it...
