So whos got the iPhone 3G?
![]() I like the GPS. Waited way too long for it. 3.5hrs at one store to be the first in the "order" line, went to NoShore and waited 2.5 and got one right off! |

The only close Apple store was still selling them tonight but there was a 2+ hour line. They are sold out there now according to the Apple web-site. So either I'm going to wait a couple of days/weeks or get up early and go to an Apple store in NY tomorrow... Last edited by brian5 : 07-11-2008 at 11:12 PM. |

They screwed up massively, there were 40 phones at the portsmouth AT&T store. The Apple store had hundreds, and the line disappeared after 4 PM.

The area ATT stores had 40 ish but the Apple store had hundreds. I was in line about 7:00 but after a few minutes was told they were out. I think they were trying to cut the line off tonight to resume tomorrow. Oh well.... I just got my wife's iPhone upgraded to 2.0. So far so good. The connection to Exchange super easy.

Looks as though there was an Apple melt down with the new iPhone. How very Microsoft of them. I'm glad I ordered mine.

AT&T doesn't have 3g coverage in my area yet, so no reason to upgrade. I will use my "old" iPhone until there is 3g coverage here.

I am still waiting for reliable any kind of coverage here. The ATT map shows coverage, but all I get is one bar or none. Has anyone tested the Edge reception of the new v. old phone? |
