Whistle Hey MD: Have you been doing your exercises?

Aging boomers fuel 'brain fitness' explosion.

Could be that in the future folks will be able to go a health care provider or other expert who will be able to give them a brain physical" and prescribe the proper exercises.

Well, QwkAg...not sure anyone cares here, but you & me, .

Like you, I'm pretty "busy" with stuff: reading alot, bridge & Pokah
once a week, lots of 'puter stuff, chasing the ball, digging on the
slope(s) here, riding the scoots as fast as my dwindling courage allows,
listening to lots of music, esp. my classical faves, etc.

However, I must admit that my shorter term "memory" is not what it
was and both V & I get "distracted" as we call it: off target, unfocused,
CRS, etc. Between the two of us, we have about "1/2 a brain" as we say.

I have really noticed some "erosion" in the past couple of years and
try to justify it as a normal passage coupled with not having worked
in 8+ years.

I can see the younger set here going off to the bio/neural lab in the
2030s for a synapse tune up. A sort of bio/pharmco rejuvenation of
the chemical "connections". If I'm around then, I probably won't care,
myself.

My point/response is that I try very diligently and thoroughly, to stay
very active, interested in stuff of all topics, and keep using the ol'noodle.
But, some of the "lost files", esp. the "temp files/cache", are part of the process,
I suspect.

A few thousand years ago, you & I would have been "ancient" & considered
remarkable and wise...
Best Regards,
Your Fellow Geezer & Yo' BFAM

PS: What the hell you doing awake and at the 'puter at 1 something in
the morning, PDT?
