Living in a hurricane-prone area, I always fill a few gas cans, just in case the gas stations go down. The other day I filled up my X5, and also four 5-gallon gas cans. The pump wouldn't give me enough on one payment! I had to go inside and get them to turn the pump on again so I could finish.

The tank in my boat holds about 100 gallons and takes about 75 gallons when at a quarter tank; 75 gallons at $4.89 is $366.75.

If you are in the market to buy a boat this is a very good time.

In regards to gas prices - is there anyone paying more for gas on a monthly basis than their car loan/lease (if you have one)?

My neighbor's H2.

3'er cost me $64 from the gas light.
I'd love a boat. Gas on the lake costs $6.50 a gallon, and you can't carry to your dock. And going wakeboarding uses wayyyy too much gas. I have better things to spend the extra cash on.

I'll just mooch
