Four Day Work Week?
I'm thinking about going to four ten-hour work days per week. I currently work 7:30-4:00 Monday through Friday. I'm thinking my new schedule would be 7:30-5:30 four days per week. The "off day" would be different each week, depending on meeting schedules and my boss's schedule -- she and I cannot be out of the office at the same time.
I like the idea of an extra five gallons of gas per week by saving one day's commute. I can't think of any cons to this...besides being at work for 10 hours at a time. What am I missing?

Nothing - that is my schedule, except when I have to support flight test over the weekend. Every other week, I have a 3 day weekend.

My job is doing something similar. We get to work from home 1 day per week. It will not make much of a difference for me because my commute is only 5 miles door to door.
