Let's see, I got to work this morning at 8:30 am and left at 10:30 pm. I'd take it in a heartbeat, even if it was only in the summer. Membership may have its privileges but it sucks sometimes too.

Sounds like a good deal. You'll be saving some bucks on gas but the real bonus is that extra day. Too bad it can't always be a Friday or a Monday. Perhaps you and your boss can each pick one of those days so you both always get a 3 day weekend.
An alternative is a 9/80 schedule where you work 9 hours a day and get every other Friday or Monday off.

Or you can work 9 hr days and have 3 day weekends every other week. Darn it woman, just do it so that you can spend more time with your cows.

Ok guys...my new schedule starts next week!
My off-day each week is Thursday. (Disasters around here happen on Mondays and Fridays, so I knew going into this that my off-day would be Thursday.) I'll be working 7:00am-5:00pm. On weeks with a holiday, I'll work four 8-hour days.
