Looks like another phone company being goobled up. When your talking about the "B" word, now your talking money!

ATT could buy Cingular since they both use GSM technology. Time will tell.

I've been with Verizon for 10+ years and happy with the service but NOT with the phone selection

V's phone selection is still infinitely better than Alltel's. I was with Alltel for 12 years, and finally left a couple years ago. Service was OK, but the technology really lagged. I suspect the Alltel customers will be happy to be moved to Verizon.
